    National Volunteers Week Celebration Event

    Greenfields hosted an afternoon tea party in Braintree on 5 June to celebrate National Volunteers’ Week and to highlight the work of their many dedicated volunteers.

  2. Art from the Heart community artwork boards unveiled

    Underpass art project

    On Monday 13th May, the Braitnree East – Art from the Heart of the Community artwork boards were installed and unveiled on the walls of the A120 underpass.

Getting young people into work

Braintree District Council, in partnership with Groundwork Hertfordshire and Greenfields, is offering 10 local young people the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification and improve employment prospects.

The pre-apprenticeship project, called ‘The Green Team’, is a 16-week voluntary employment training scheme aimed at taking on young people who have been in long-term unemployment, not in education or training (NEET). Find out more here.
