Paying Your Rent

WIN UP TO £250 Throughout 2012 Greenfields will be holding quarterly draws. Tenants keeping their property rent and water rates completely clear throughout the previous quarter will be entered into a draw to win £150. Rent and Water Payments are due every week on Monday in advance. You can check your accounts online 24 hours a day. Since April 2011 the water rates have been payable on a separate account to the property rent. Each account has a different reference number. The water rates can be paid using the blue swipe card that was sent out in April 2011.
 There are lots of ways that you can pay your accounts. These include:

Online:
In order to pay your rent online, please log onto www.allpayments.net. The first time that you use it, you will be asked to create a password which will speed up the process on future visits. You will need to have the 19 digit number written across the middle of your swipe card as a payment reference, as well as your payment card details. If you do not have a swipe card, you can contact the Rent Accounting Team.

By Direct Debit:
If you would like to start paying your rent by Direct Debit, please contact the Rent Accounting Team at Greenfields on 01376 535400 or fill in the Direct Debit form and return it to us. If you pay by Direct Debit, your water rates will be included in your monthly payments.

By Standing Order:
Paying by Standing Order is similar to Direct Debit, but you must remember to contact your bank when any changes in payment are needed. To pay by Standing Order please contact the Rent Accounting Team or download our Standing Order form to hand into your bank. Please quote your 13 digit account numbers for both rent and water accounts as you will need to set up two payments.

By Telephone:
A payment by credit or debit card can be made on our automated card line by calling 0844 557 8321.

By Cheque:
You can post cheques, made payable to Greenfields Community Housing, to our Braintree address. Alternatively, you can hand cheques into any of our offices. Get details of our office locations. One cheque is acceptable as long as you provide confirmation of your account numbers and the amounts you wish to pay to your rent and water accounts. This can be written on the back of your cheque.

Your Local Post Office:
You can make payments using any method, including cash, at post offices.

Pay Point:
Visit any store with the Pay Point sign and you can make cash or cheque payments. Find your nearest Pay Point Facility.
Remember that you will need your swipe cards to make payments. Please keep your receipts as proof of payment.
