Leasehold Services provides help and support to Greenfields' Leaseholders. We have over 450 Leaseholders in the Braintree District, including Witham, Halstead and surrounding areas.

We also offer other services such as Right To Buy and Shared Ownership.

No recovery action will be taken against an estimated service charge, however, this should be paid by 31st March of that financial year. Extended interest free repayments may be agreed subject to service charges being repaid prior to the actual account being issued. Alternatively, you may be eligible for an extended loan or a Charge against your property - both subject to interest and an administration fee.

Greenfields' Welfare Service

Greenfields now have our own Welfare Benefits Advice Service. We can advise you on any benefits you may be entitled to and also assist you in filling out forms.

Decent Homes work for Leaseholders

Greenfields are offering leaseholders to 'buy in' to our Decent Homes improvement programme which could mean a new kitchen, bathroom etc. Find out more what we can offer you.

Please also note, the Government are issuing non-repayable Grants, funded by utility companies for home insulation – available for ALL owner/occupiers and private tenants, no matter what your level of income.  Gas central heating grants are also available for those on qualifying benefits, tax credits or allowances.  Visit www.government-grants.co.uk for approximate costs, grants and estimated payback. Works must be carried out by an accredited installer for the grant to be issued; you will not be able to carry out the works yourself.
