Sheltered Housing at Greenfields
Greenfields own and manage 17 sheltered housing schemes across the district, serving our three main towns and a number of villages.
![]() The aim of sheltered housing is to provide individual, easily managed apartments, which enable older people to keep their privacy, dignity and independence. All schemes have 24-hour emergency cover, plus the added security of a Scheme Coordinator who looks after one or more schemes. Some of the benefits can include:
If you are over 55 years of age you may be eligible to apply for sheltered housing. There are a number of sheltered properties available and you don't need to be an existing Greenfields resident to apply.
