We pride ourselves on being a Community Gateway Association, empowering residents to tell us what they think of the services we provide. Our Resident Challenge Group (RCG) plays a crucial role in this. To find out more information about our Resident Challenge Group, please read the information below.

What is the Resident Challenge Group?

Our RCG conducts regular reviews of services provided Greenfields, holding us to account for our decisions, performance and conduct. The group highlights areas for improvement and provides recommendations to our Community Gateway Group (CGG) and Board. They also look at issues in terms of value for money and equality & diversity. Recent reviews have included:

  • Repairs Appointment Slots Review (2015)
  • Rent Statement Review (2016)

Philip Watts

“I have been a Greenfields resident since 2007, when Greenfields was formed. Along with other Greenfields residents, we started the Humber Road Group to improve the estate where we live in Witham. Being Chairperson of the RCG makes me proud of our group and the input we make to Greenfields. I enjoy working with a great group of people and the challenges we set ourselves.”

“I have been a Greenfields tenant for six years, and been on the RCG since it was formed in 2012. I found it challenging helping Greenfields to keep up to the standard of their homes, and enjoyed the completion of our second project on bringing empty homes up to standard. The group is very friendly and the meetings are interesting and informative. We hope to represent all the residents on all fronts.”

RCG is recruiting

We always welcome new members to join us in the RCG. As the Group has been so successful, we are keen to recruit new members to do even more to help improve our services.
