We take your privacy and security very seriously, managing information we hold in line with the Data Protection Act. This page outlines your rights to access the information we hold.

Your rights to information

Data Protection

We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 to hold information about you. This can include your name and address, any disabilities you have told us about and other information relating to your tenancy. We will hold your data securely and information will only be provided to people who need it to do their job.

If you wish to have a copy of information we hold about you, please complete our Data Subject Access Request Form. We ask that you pay a £10 administration charge and provide original identification. We will then have 40 calendar days to investigate your request and respond to you.

Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 creates a public “right of access” to information held by public authorities. Although housing providers like Greenfields are not considered to be public authorities and it is not therefore a legal requirement to comply with this Act, when Greenfields was created we agreed that we would provide information in response to Freedom of Information requests made by members of our community.

Our Publication Scheme sets out the information we make routinely available, such as policies and strategies, minutes of meetings, annual reports, performance data and financial information.

If you wish to make a Freedom of Information Request, please get in touch with us with the information required and the reason that you would like it. We will then assess your request and determine which information can be shared. Once your request is received, we have a maximum of 20 working days to investigate your request and respond to you.
