No. 5: 24 Housing’s Top 50 Social Landlords 2019

Experts from the world of social housing named Greenfields as the UK’s 5th best landlord. 24 Housing magazine said:

“Greenfields places meaningful resident engagement at the heart. The strong nature of the involvement from residents ensured they continue to be part of opportunities, such as new Task and Finish Groups, which improve services such as its anti-social behaviour offer. Volunteers also lead Community Action Plans, where residents selected 52 improvements to implement locally.

“Faced with challenges of housing older vulnerable people, Greenfields developed a new offer for the over-55s. So far, the service has helped 351 residents maintain their independence.

“For the future, Greenfields has launched the Building Communities Together strategy, which sees 1,800 new homes waiting in the pipeline, a £73m investment in current homes, and a co-creation of new services.”

Marvels of Mid Awards 2019

Greenfields volunteer Mark Fribbens won the Volunteer of the Year award at the Mid Essex CCG awards, while our Support Co-ordinators won in the Age Well category.

Our Tenancy Sustainment Team and Chair-Based Exercise service were both shortlisted in the Stay Well category.

Housing Heroes Award 2019 finalist

Greenfields’ Business Solutions team, along with Manifest Software Solutions, were finalists in the Central Services team of the year category for setting up more convenient tenancy sign-ups.

Housing Essex Excellence shortlisted

Housing Essex Excellence Award 2019

The Tenancy Sustainment Team and our Support Co-ordinator service are shortlisted for the Delivering Services to Vulnerable People category of the new Housing Essex Excellence Awards 2019.

We will find out on 10 October, 2019, whether either team is successful.
