Having always worked in the social housing sector, Emma has a wide range of housing experience in both Chief Officer and non-executive roles, joining Greenfields in 2018 from Flagship Group. She is Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Emma’s career has been centred in the East of England. She says: “With significant planned growth in the region, particularly north Essex, it is bestowed upon us to ensure that we support existing and new communities; providing good quality homes and servicing them and their residents well.”
Investing in innovation and technology for the benefit of service and business development, in addition to creating a strong employee offer, are Emma’s key priorities. She says: “Working for us should be fun and rewarding.”
Executive Director (Finance & Governance)
David trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG, spending some time working overseas in New Zealand with the firm before moving into the social housing sector in 1998. He held senior finance roles within other regional housing providers before joining Greenfields in 2007 to complete the transfer of housing from the Council and establish the current business.
Within Greenfields David has executive responsibility for the financial services, treasury, income collection and governance functions; including risk and performance management. He is also the Company Secretary and Deputy to our Chief Executive.
He says: “We have enjoyed a very successful period in establishing Greenfields. We have an excellent team and the capability to continue to grow successfully and to continue to improve lives and provide excellent opportunities for our residents and partners.”
Executive Director (Portfolio Growth & Investment)
Richard has worked as a Housing & Property Services Director for housing associations, local authorities and ALMOs and also as a consultant, both independently and for some of the major consultancy providers.
At Greenfields, Richard is responsible for New Development, Asset Management and Responsive Repairs, ensuring that we build high quality new homes, make effective use of our existing assets and deliver excellent services to our residents.
He said: “This is an exciting time to be working for Greenfields as we work to build new homes and deliver excellent, value for money services for our residents. We will continue to play our part in meeting the significant housing need in our region and ensure we contribute to supporting residents and communities.”
Executive Director (Housing & Customer Services)
Sandra started working in housing more than 25 years ago. She has experience of working for in Essex and London and joined Greenfields just prior to the stock transfer in 2007.
Sandra’s team includes Neighbourhood Management, Support & Wellbeing, Community Empowerment and Customer Excellence, which includes Customer Service and Customer Feedback.
She said: “I am passionate about delivering excellent service and understand how important it is to get the basics right and respond well, even when things go wrong. We also have a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of people in our communities, as well as increasing their aspirations. Greenfields has firm foundations and an exciting future ahead.”

Andrina is currently on Maternity Leave.
Andrina joined us in January 2019 to support Emma to build a culture which is fully engaged, future thinking and agile. With a depth of knowledge and experience in HR leadership and change in a variety of sectors, as well as running a successful HR consultancy, she is passionate about blending people, communication and technology.
Believing that thoughtful innovation leads to a workforce that will maximise creativity and achievement, Andrina will enable Greenfields to shine as an employer of choice. Helping to create an exciting brand and employer proposition, Andrina will deliver fit for purpose solutions and embrace a ‘hearts and mind’ feel to Corporate Services delivery.
