Work experience provides a brilliant insight into the working world. It can help you understand what a job involves, what a working environment is like and how organisations work.
Practical experience for your future
We offer work experience students the opportunity to spend a week out of the classroom; gaining some practical experience within our business. Doing this can help you with your future career and education choices.
During your placement you would spend time in your chosen area of the business. This could range from working in our residents’ homes with our Repairs Team to being based in our office with one of our many office-based teams. If you have an interest in a particular area or service, we would aim to place you within that team.
How to apply
If you are interested in arranging a placement with us please speak to your tutor or work experience provider to apply.
Alternatively, if you are not of school or college age and want to gain experience within the housing sector, we may be able to provide a placement opportunity for you. Please send us a short covering letter explaining:
- the type of skills and work experience you have
- the skills and experience you are looking to gain
- the length of time, dates and hours you will be available for work experience
- why you would like to complete your work experience at Greenfields.
