As a Community Gateway Association, Greenfields Community Housing puts residents at the heart of our business, giving tenants and leaseholders a real say in the services we deliver.
We are looking to strengthen our Board by ideally recruiting a tenant or resident leasehold member with knowledge of the communities we serve and experience of receiving our services. We pay Board members £4,000 a year for a contribution of 15 – 20 hours a month, including attending monthly 5pm meetings at Greenfields House in Braintree.
This is a great opportunity for a strong team player who is passionate about making a contribution to help celebrate our achievements, spot ways to improve what we already do, identify new opportunities and play a key role in shaping our strategic direction for the coming years.
These roles will suit individuals from varied backgrounds who have the personal and professional impact to be a strong ambassador for Greenfields. We would especially like to hear from applicants with the knowledge, skills or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Strong governance experience
- Reading Accounts/Treasury Management
- Strategic Asset Management
- Development of new homes
- Strong business acumen
- Experience operating at a senior level
