The festive cheer is continuing for three Greenfields residents after each scooped £20 Marks & Spencer vouchers in a prize draw.
The trio filled out a survey about our services whilst enjoying the entertainment at one of four pantos hosted by Greenfields in the New Year.
Lisa Vickers, Rowena Ketteridge and Peter Belcher were among the 400 residents enjoying Treasure Island panto performances in Braintree, Witham and Halstead. The events were funded by Greenfields Residents Groups and performed by Chaplins Pantos.
Peter from Witham attend one of two pantos in Witham Public Hall with his family and said: “We thoroughly enjoyed it, you’ve done well! We would definitely come again.”
Lisa, from Sible Hedingham, was joined by her family at the Empire Theatre in Halstead and said: “It was really good; family orientated and good for both children and adults.”
Each of the Greenfields Residents Groups (Mid, North and South) are given annual budgets to improve their communities.
30 residents who filled in the survey expressed an interest in joining their local group or getting involved in one of Greenfields’ other volunteering opportunities, including the Community Gateway Group and online-only Virtual Voices. They will also be invited to shape similar events in the future.
