We offer free help and support to help you to “get online” and experience all the exciting and empowering benefits that it can bring.

Getting online

Being online can help you:

  • Get discounts on services and save up to £500 per year
  • Apply for Universal Credit
  • Apply for jobs, using online searches.
  • Do your banking
  • Keep in touch with family and friends
  • Find out what’s happening in your community
  • Meet like-minded people who share your interests
  • Shop for food, clothes or anything at all
  • Take up a new hobby or find a new interest

We can offer you help, advice and guidance to develop your confidence and skills, advice on who to talk to regarding sourcing affordable equipment and guidance on connecting to the internet. We can help you whether you’ve used a computer before or not. You don’t need your own device either; we can lend you something to learn on.

Free internet access

We have computers with free internet access available for our residents to use at Eastlight House from 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Booking isn’t required and there is no charge.
