Get support

Our Tenancy Sustainment Co-ordinators are Carole Ware, Claire Eaglesfield and Nick Rowe. They are part of the Neighbourhoods team and work closely with the Neighbourhood Co-ordinators.  The Tenancy Sustainment team are trained Mental Health First Aiders,; they can offer support and advice around your emotional wellbeing, helping residents get professional support.

The team was introduced in 2014 to help residents sustain their tenancies. You may be referred into the service for a variety of reasons which can include:

  • Help with de-cluttering
  • Support with accessing health services, including mental health services
  • Guidance with maintaining routines at home
  • Support with downsizing homes
  • Referrals and support for debt, benefit and budgeting advice
  • Assistance with accessing training and volunteering opportunities
  • Safeguarding Referrals

An initial assessment is completed with the resident to assess where support can be offered around four areas: staying safe, enjoying and achieving, being healthy and achieving economic wellbeing.

Tenancy Training

The team also work with residents who are new to Greenfields and are moving into their first home. Many first time tenancy holders can be anxious about setting up home, paying bills, budgeting, settling into a new area and understanding their tenancy.

The team offer a Tenancy Training programme, in your own home, where they will visit weekly and offer support and guidance through the first few weeks in your new home.

There is no time limit on how long we work with you. We will support you until you are confident and comfortable with sustaining your own tenancies and lives.
