Want to change Greenfields’ services? Then get involved!
28th June 2018 James Calnan

Are you busy with life but think we could be a better landlord? Or do you want to develop the skills and knowledge to shape our services in the years to come?

Whether you can answer the occasional email, attend a handful of meetings or can devote the time to seriously scrutinise what we do, then we have the involvement opportunity for you.

As a Community Gateway Association, Greenfields puts residents at the heart of our business, giving tenants and leaseholders a real say in the services we deliver.

Our Virtual Voices can share their insight from the comfort of their living room. They are asked to respond to monthly emails with their thoughts on everything from replacing light bulbs to proposed changes to our repairs service. To join or find out more, please email amanda.bhavnani@greenfieldsch.org.uk

We are also recruiting Board members with knowledge of our services and the communities we serve, along with the skills and experience to influence our future. Board members are remunerated £4,000 a year in return for contributing 15-20 hours a month, including attending monthly meetings. Apply here by 24 July: www.greenfieldsch.org.uk/careers/job-opportunities

And we’re always looking for new faces in our other involvement opportunities. Our Community Voices represent their local street or estate, feeding back on issues and concerns, while the three Greenfields Residents Groups work together to fund improvements in the communities they live in. Each group’s chairs also attend our Community Gateway Group, which meets regularly to represent the views of our tenants and leaseholders.

Task and Finish Groups are a mix of staff and residents who carry out a short-term focus on a specific service before recommending improvements, while we have a variety of other volunteer opportunities, such as becoming a Digi-pal or leading a chair-based exercise class.
