On 1 July 2020, Greenfields Community Homes and Colne Housing merged to form Eastlight Community Homes.
Forming one organisation will enable us to be stronger together. It will enable us to invest an extra £8 million on new kitchens, bathrooms, electric heating, doors and roofs in residents’ homes over the next five years.
We’ll also be able to build new homes in our neighbourhoods, spend more on our communities and create a Resident Academy to ensure residents shape the future of Eastlight Community Homes. Please visit Eastlight Community Homes’ website here to find out more.

Q: I’d like to contact Eastlight Community Homes. What should I do?
A: Please use your usual contact methods, which can be found here. The only change is that you will be greeted by a Customer Service Advisor introducing themselves as working for Eastlight Community Homes!
Q: Has my tenancy changed?
A: No. You are now a tenant of Eastlight Community Homes. All of your terms and conditions, including rent, will remain unchanged.
Q: I’d like to book a repair. What should I do?
A: You can still book non-emergency repairs by visiting My Greenfields here or by calling 01376 535400.
Q: Do I need to pay rent in a different way?
A: No. Please use the same methods, account numbers, sort codes and payment references that you use now.
Q: I am due to have an improvement at my home. Will this still go ahead?
A: Yes, all planned improvements will take place, subject of course to restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Q: I’m a volunteer resident. Does my role continue under Eastlight?
A: Yes, our community groups, including the Community Gateway Group, will continue to meet as best they can while social distancing rules remain in place. Over the next few months, we will work with you to identify how best we can evolve and innovate how you are involved in Eastlight.
